I've been such a fan of the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colours that I thought it was time to give the Ultra HD Lipstick a try. I was gifted the colour #875 Gladiolus over the weekend and wow, let me tell you, the colour is phenomenal but that's not the only great thing about it!
The Revlon Ultra HD Lipsticks are a wax-free gel formula and there are twenty different opaque shades. The containers are silver mirror finish with clear lids so you can easily see the colour inside. I love the smell of them, they're the same as the matte lip colours which is like a very sweet vanilla scent that lingers but isn't strong enough to bother my sensitive nose.
Gladious is such a gorgeous, bright and shiny red that I love so dearly. The gel formula leaves it looking almost like bright red patent leather which is the perfect look for a night out, or a super chic look for a day on the town! All you need is light swipes of the lipstick to get perfect coverage, so don't use a heavy hand when applying, even though it is a very light weight formula.
Although I am still more of a fan of the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colours because they last through me eating everything including saucy nugs. This lipstick definitely will not, and it transfers very easily which is quite dangerous with such a powerful red colour. I would definitely be applying a loose powder on top of this lipstick and a lip liner to match to make sure it stays a bit better.. and maybe just coffee through a straw haha!
I didn't get this in store or online, as it was gifted to me, and for some reason I can't seem to find it on any online mainstream stores but you can purchase them on Wells.ca in two different shades for $10.99 CAD.
Have you tried the Revlon Ultra HD Lipsticks? If so did you like them?
I barely use regular lipsticks, since liquid lipsticks took over. Love the shade, will try to check it out.

That is a really pretty shade on you. I haven't picked up one of the HD lipsticks yet, but honestly I feel Revlon has never let me down in the lipstick department, so I may need to get a few.
